Battery Management Systems (BMS) exist in all batteries and are used to control the charging and discharging of a battery pack. Brill Power has discovered a revolutionary way to design a BMS, so that each cell is managed individually. This means that each individual cell can be utilized to its full capacity, that battery packs can be combined (modular), and that used cells can be repurposed to be useful again, no matter what the original chemistry of the cell.
Brill Power’s first product, the ionQube, is currently being piloted in two off-grid villages in Kenya.
