Developing the SILP Experimentation Fund made us realise something significant – we are as much a part of the experiment as the seven selected projects. Through embracing ideas of exploration, collaboration, community engagement, and capability building, we have learnt a great deal about how we work as an organisation, a team and as individuals.
We hope that the application process has created ripple effects in shifting mindsets within the pool of applicants. Beyond the boundaries of the Fund and our process itself, these ripples continue, which supports the intention of experimenting to learn in a way that is continuous – offering feedback loops that can be taken up in other pieces of work, whether directly or indirectly.
