Join us this summer for our inspiring webinar series on innovations for a sustainable land, agri-food system in Ireland.

Between 27 July and 7 September, we will be holding interactive online discussions with leading experts on topics such as carbon farming, proteins and feed, meat and dairy, the just transition, circular economy and circular agri-food, system funding and more.

Through this webinar series, we aim to reflect on insights and recommendations from the recent report Dealing with climate change and sustainability targets published by EIT Climate-KIC and partners, and push the ambition forward when it comes to food systems innovation in Ireland, by hearing from all those involved in this transformation.

Whether or not you have been engaged in EIT Climate KIC’s partnership in Ireland to date, come tune in, share your perspectives, and learn something new. There will be open Q&A sessions at the end.

The discussions and insights we will gather throughout the series will feed and culminate into our conference on 28 September in Dublin, when high-level participants from the Irish land and agri-food value chain as well as EIT Climate-KIC community members will gather for a day of inspiring talks on food systems transformation.

About EIT Climate-KIC’s work on food systems innovation in Ireland

In order to help the land, agri-food system to deliver on accelerated pathways for climate action and food system transformation, the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM) has partnered with EIT Climate-KIC – Europe’s largest climate innovation partnership — to support national climate action in the agriculture and food sector. Building on EIT Climate-KIC’s Deep Demonstration methodology, the now two-year old partnership is developing and initiating a portfolio of innovation actions across the entire value chain, from soil to farm to fork.

The report Dealing with climate change and sustainability targets was part of a wider consultative process to identify key innovations, across leverage points within the broader system, that aim to support DAFM and other system actors to deliver on faster, transformative change.
