The Challenge
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be hosting Climathon London 2016, giving an opportunity to join the top technical, business and creative minds to drive entrepreneurial climate solutions, through crowdsourcing local ideas and helping solve global climate issues.
London’s challenge is to successfully create smart solutions to tackle the sources of its air quality issues – be that:
– Identifying and analysing air quality issues effectively
– Creating culture change through creative design and communication
– Enabling change through technical innovation
The backbone to tackling London’s air quality problem successfully, lies in how we gather and connect new data sources effectively. Coupling this with creativity, innovative thinking and a resolve to solving current issues, to ensure London’s local and business communities engage in tackling air quality.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop leading air quality innovations, pitching their ideas to an expert panel at the end of the event.
Everyone from all backgrounds is encouraged to get involved and join the global Climathon community on the 28th October 2016, on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
