The Nurturing Entrepreneurship Support Organisations and Start-ups for AI-driven Climate Action programme is designed to equip 10 ESOs and 10 start-ups based in London with the tools, mindsets, and networks to help them to increase their focus on key innovations that bridge the gap between climate and AI.

Programme Activities
Over a nine-month period, Climate KIC will focus on enhancing relationships within the ecosystem to align the selected cohort (ESOs and start-ups) with opportunities for impactful climate & AI solutions.
Who Can Apply?
The pass/fail eligibility criteria for ESOs are:
- ESOs must be formally registered in London or have considerable operations in this city.
- The applicant must be an Entrepreneurship Support Organisation, which includes incubators, accelerators, start-up associations, chambers of commerce, entrepreneurship or business creation units at universities or research institutes, or any other organisation with a core focus on supporting early to mid-stage ventures develop business ideas.
- Experience in the climate innovation sector is preferred, including any background or interest in AI and climate topics.
- The ESO must demonstrate commitment to the programme and operational capacity to ensure effective delivery of the planned activities.
- Availability to participate in online workshops and the in-person ‘sensemaking’ event in London (September 2025). The commitment period is from April to October 2025 to complete the programme.
The pass/fail eligibility criteria for start-ups are:
- Start-ups must be formally registered companies in London or have considerable operations in this city.
- Maturity level: formally registered company.
- Has a minimum viable product (MVP), service/or business model, exponential technology or solution with substantial climate impact with potential intersection of AI.
- Availability to participate in online workshops and the in-person ‘sensemaking’ event in London (September 2025). The commitment period is from April to October 2025 to complete the programme.
