New European Bauhaus Mentors 2024

The call for expression of interest for New European Bauhaus (NEB) Mentors 2024 is now open. The deadline to submit expressions of interest is Friday 29 December 2023. Further details and how to apply can be found below.

As an EU policy initiative, the New European Bauhaus is part of the sustainability-driven recovery plan called NextGenerationEU. The initiative helps to deliver the European Green Deal, which is a set of policies outlined by the European Commission to decouple economic growth from resource use – making Europe greener and more resilient.

The EIT Community NEB offers its beneficiaries one-on-one mentorship and guidance on everything from designing for social sustainability to circular business models. This call for expression of interest is to select a cohort of mentors to inspire EIT Community NEB beneficiaries.

NEB Mentors are required to think Bauhaus and encourage their mentees – participants of NEB calls under Horizon Europe and related programmes – to further integrate into their practices the three inseparable New European Bauhaus values of aesthetics, sustainability, and inclusion.

Depending on the mentorship assignment selected, NEB Mentors are expected to commit four to 24 hours of their time over a period of up to six months and will receive up to €3k per mentorship assignment.

EIT Community NEB Mentorships will run from February 2024 until February 2025.
