Regional Education and Information Centre for Sustainable Development in South-East Europe (REIC), from its establishment in 2005, is active in implementation of various sustainable development projects. The organisation organised more than 50 seminars and workshops, 16 international summer schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina with focus on energy and climate planning. REIC also launched first citizen energy initiative and crowdfunding campaign for renewables in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is pioneer organisation in the country that is focused on encouraging citizen investment in renewables. The installation of photovoltaic plant on the roof of one public social institution was successfully implemented in 2018.
