LightFi is a simple, retrofit building automation solution that integrates with existing infrastructure. By turning off lights and reducing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) load in unused spaces we can improve the energy efficiency of our buildings.
Our innovation passively uses WiFi to detect mobile devices, infer occupancy levels and automate lighting and HVAC control. LightFi is designed to be simple: 10 minutes to install, no configuration and no rewiring, which removes the landlord-tenant barrier that commonly deters organisations from energy efficiency.
A single LightFi presence sensor has a range of 50 meters and gives an return on investment of less than a year. It works well in large spaces, has low maintenance costs, and doesn’t require an additional budget to implement energy efficiency.
LightFi’s anonymous occupancy level data will inform on how your space is actually being used, allowing for space optimisation alongside energy savings at reduced cost and effort.
