The Leadership Team represents different functions at Climate KIC. It coordinates the execution of our strategy and manages overall operations for the people, partners and stakeholders who we are in service of.

Dr Kirsten Dunlop
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Kirsten leads the organisation with a deep conviction in our capacity to learn and evolve into a climate-resilient society. She brings over 30 years of experience catalyzing systemic transformations in a career spanning academia, consulting, banking, and insurance. Kirsten serves on various Advisory Boards and is a recognized leader at the European Commission Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR) expert group.

Dr Andy Kerr
Chief Strategy Officer
Andy is responsible for the group’s overarching strategy and business model, its financial sustainability, and delivery of its global impact. He has been in leadership roles on climate action for over two decades, developing, testing and implementing new approaches and solutions in start-ups, corporates, universities and with governments.
Alethea Gollan
Portfolio and PMO OrchestratorAlethea leads our Portfolio & PMO function. Furnished with over 20 years of leadership experience across financial services and not-for-profits in areas including strategic innovation, large-scale system projects and organisational change management, she thrives in complex operating environments that require creativity and innovation.
Chris Roe
Entrepreneurship, Solutions & Ventures OrchestratorChris leads our Entrepreneurship, Solutions and Ventures Cluster. He has worked at the intersection between entrepreneurship, economic development, impact, and climate change for over 15 years. Chris spent many years working across Africa and excels at managing complex projects and relationships in challenging fast paced environments.
Ewa Patkiewicz
General CounselEwa leads our team of legal, procurement and compliance lawyers. She also advises the boards, executive and leadership teams, on strategic, business critical matters. Ewa has over 15 years of professional experience as head of legal across multiple sectors, from highly-regulated, private international corporations to philanthropy, as well as an entrepreneur.
Saskia Visser
Land Use, Agri-food, Sustainable Bio-economy OrchestratorSaskia orchestrates the application of the Deep Demonstration methodology in national & regional contexts to achieve decarbonisation, climate adaptation and regeneration of (agri)biodiversity. She has 25 years of experience in both execution and management of sustainable land use research and she is the strategic advisor of the European Joint Program on Agricultural Soils under climate change.
Solla Zophoniasdottir
Learning Services OrchestratorSolla leads the development of our learning and capability activities. She has worked for over 15 years to expand and facilitate the learning processes of organisations, with a focus on skills building and shifting mindsets in the climate space. She is an expert in the facilitation of change management processes, working to create transformation both within and across different cultures.
Stephanie Klotz
Communications & Marketing OrchestratorStephanie leads our team of dedicated communications professionals and spearheads the organisation’s efforts to rewrite the current climate narrative to instil hope and inspire action. For nearly 20 years, she has been working at the intersection of sustainability and communications across multiple sectors, dedicating her career to turning complex concepts into simple stories.
Thomas Osdoba
Programme Director, NetZeroCitiesThomas heads our Cities Cluster and is the Managing Director of the EU Cities Mission Programme NetZeroCities. He identifies and catalyses initiatives to address critical sustainability needs through innovative business models and capital platforms, focussing on core ecosystem services – shelter, food, energy, water, mobility, interaction.
